My DH, my 2 sisters & 3 of my bestfriends who also happen to be my cousins. Wow I have a lot more than I really thought I had.

honestly, I would say my Dad because I can go to him re: anything, and I mean anything...he doesn't always give me the greatest advice or really get it sometimes, but I know that any time day or night he will be there...and he also will beat the crap , or threaten to, out of anyone who crosses me...plus he will do or say anything to make me laugh.
I spend so much time trying to be everyone else's rock/person, that I don't really reach out or accept help from people easily...and when I do, if I don't get it back right away, I shut down...it's hard because my mother was a non-demominator in my life, so I trust very few.
Hugs to you Barb, family issues cut close to the bone and I am sorry you feel down...

ALWAYS DH and my best friend. This is not to say no one else is usually "in my corner" (usually a bunch of people including mom, dad and sister as well as friends), but those two people have the inability to ever see anyones side. They are unwilling to hear someone elses side of the story, let alone understand it. I feel blessed about that as well as my other friends.

sorry you are going through a hard time
for me, its fh and my dad - i have my mom too, but i still turn to my dad most. although i know my mom will always be there if i need her

I'm lucky to have my mom, my 2 best friends, and then DH. Sometimes he just doesn't get it.

DH!!!.. Everyone else says they are, but actions speak louder than words!! DH is my #1 supporter. I don't need anyone else. That's how good of a job he does!
