OPK test and wait

do you really need to wait a few hours. Ive beent esting for 6 days and my line is always lighter, but I just realized after reading the instructions that you need to wait about 4 hours. I never waited I always POS when I needed to in the afternoon. could I have ovulated and not known because i was testing wrong?

Yes that could happen-you are supposed to test between 12-8PM and after holding your pee for 4 hrs. Are you getting fertile cervical fluid? It looks like egg whites and stretches. I find that I get fertile cervical fluid(EWCM) about 1-2 days before I ovulate but everyone's different. Also the line should be EXACTLY the same color as the control line

slightly embaressing but i did have some CM, but not sure if I have had EWCM pretty much because we have been Bd'n anyway incase I did do the tests wrong and in actuallity I was ovulating, i tend to have left overs the next day if you get my point.

The stretchiness of it is the determining factor Semen won't stretch-good time to check is after #2

What day of your cycle are you on and how long ae your cycles usually

Day 15 and my cycles are usually 27-28days. I have not given up Ill test for the next 3 days. FF said I should have O'd on Tuesday. I also made an appointment with my doc for end of next month.

took another test tonight and held my pee for 3.5 hours, line was darker but not dark enough. But I definatly have cramps the kind I usualy get when I have always thought I was ovulating... soo weird...... but no EWCM, but come to think of it over the weekend I did have the crumbly kind and bit slimmy, but like I said before it was confusing with the semen and I wasnt payign too much attention b/c i was usign the OPK's for the first time and that was what I was going by. I guess Ill keep testing and wait and see what the next two weeks bring

totally sorry to keep posting, but you guys are my only outlet. 1st out of all the girls in our family and friends to try to get PG.

So I jsut toataly noticed I have EWCM, gonna not pee until I get home which is in 4 hours and take another OPK, hopefully it will be positive today. Maybe since Im not temping FF was totally wrong and weve been trying way to early. Ill post later on whether or not I fianally got a POPK.
