Anyone using a Nanny instead of Daycare?

I think this is the way we are going to go since I will be working from home 2 days a week, and will only have to have someone come in 3 days a week.

So if your using a nanny, who are you using?

I was thinking of going the same route, except I dont even know where to being to start looking, I hgave tried the word of mouth for monthes now and NOTHING!!!! very
hard to find someone you fully trust!

I was thinking of using an agency - Try gonannies.com. I was kind of hoping that someone out there would have a good reference though.

I will probably get a nanny. I know someone who works with a lot of nannies.

My husband and I are going to use a nanny instead of daycare, because we work in NYC and won't get home before daycare closes. Unfortunately, I also have no idea how to find a nanny. I posted this question a few months ago too, but without a lot of luck.
