In law b-day acknowldgements
Its not even my MIL/FIL but the rest of their family that just acknowledged my dh's bday and not mine with cards and gifts in the mail. My family has NEVER not acknowldeged my DH. This is our 1st yr of marriage. I am so ******!
p.s. we ae in the same week. March 8th and 10th!

Why doesn't your DH just call his family and ask them why they dont send you cards for your b-day? See what they say? Thats really rude!
ETA: Do they know its your b-day? Cause some times my DH's family doesnt send me a card for my b-day when they do for him, and I think its cause they just dont know its my b-day or they just forget.

Mine don't even realize I have a b-day. I stopped signing their b-day card ages ago. My parents always remember DH's. I don't receive Christmas gifts from them either.

Thats horrible. I didnt get the phone call either but I thought a card would be easiest from these people.

You know what's even worse than them not acknowledging my birthday? They don't even acknowledge JT'S birthday I feel so sorry for him. He hates his birthday because it reminds him what horrible parents he has

First of all...I could care less about gifts...
HOWEVER, I used to get gifts from my DH's side of the family for my birthday and now it's just a card and a phone call. But when it's their birthday...watch out...you better get a gift!!!!
