adopting again from China

we made the final decision over the weekend that we are definetly going to adopt another baby girl from China. We are not going to start the paperwork until about this time next year. We are going to ask for a baby between 20-30 months. Diana was 18 months when she came home, and it was a great age. We hope they stay in that age frame so the girls will be no too far apart age wise. I know the wait time has extended a lot, but that should land us traveling just before Diana starts kindergarten, so we will only have one in day care, or two but not for too long (it's so costly).

Anyway, we do not wish to use the same agency we used for the first adoption. Can anyone please let me know which agency you are using and how you feel about them.

Yeah, another precious baby coming home to her family!!!!! Congratulations, I guess she has begun to grow in your heart now! I am LID 8/17 so we are close. I am with Harrah's and love them!
They are located in Texas and were licensed in the state of NY at the end of last year to write Home Studies. I started writing their NY home studies, and love them professionally as much as a waiting MOM. They use a Dossier Consultant and the process is very organized. When I went through my process I used Family Focus for my home study and was not happy with them at all. I paid for the study and signed the contract in September of 2004 and she didn't have it complete and notarized until May 2005, that is not ok! Harrah's website is www.hfsadopt.org

thanks for the info. I am definetly going to check them out. We are going to use the same home stufy agency as the last time, figured that would be easier, and we really liked her a lot. They are Adoption Options if anyone is interested I can get you the number. We will actually see her early next month for Diana's final post placement visit.

we used Great Wall last time, and while they were good through most of the process, it came to our attention that we were way overcharged whn it came to travel and that just left a bad feeling.

I am SOOO happy for you!!!
Do you remember who my friend's used? If not, I can ask them again. They said they would use the same agency again..and many of those who travelled with them have #2 home thru the same agency.
I am so excited!!
