Locklear Unplugs Rock 'n' Roll Marriage
Another one bites the dust:
In December, Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora were "happily married." Two months later, the actress and the Bon Jovi guitarist are divorcing. Locklear, 44, did the filing, per her publicist.
"This is a private matter, and there will be no further comment at this time," Cece York said in a statement Thursday.
The release had Locklear and Sambora's marriage as enduring 10 years, but it actually passed the 11-year mark last December, around the same time the couple was shushing whispers of their imminent demise.
"The real story is that there is no story," Locklear and Sambora said at the time in a statement to the New York Daily News. "The truth is that after 11 years together, we are still happily married. Boring but true."
Locklear and Sambora, 47, wed in 1994 in Paris. It was her second marriage; his first. The couple has one daughter, 8.
