I understand the need to censor words here for profanity. Those 4 letter words and degrading terms to women, races and religion I have no problem with. I never use them and I don't think most people here do.
But why s*ck and pis*ed? I think that most laides on this site (and the men) won't use it in an offensive manner. I don't think its any more offensive than "sex". Not to mention- the non-dirty meaning is more commonly used than the dirty one.

I don't know about changing it, but I find I pay MORE attention to it when there are ****s - I try to figure out what the censored word is.
I totally agree about those two words. There's another one too that is censored that I don't get but I can't think of it right now.
But s*ck especially is used alot on the parenting boards like someone else said and it's a pain to have to work around the censoring for a totally innocent use of the word.

people were typing ALL the REALLY bad curse words on the boards!!!!! LIF hadn't finished putting in all the blocks yet - there was some pretty colorful vocabulary being thrown around here!!!!

Yes!! that was fun... for a day
didn't last very long!!! i think in a matter of minutes they were able to * out the MAJOR curse words... but it WAS kinda funny to see them up on the boards for those few minutes!!
