No reason, really, paper just said it was mutual, and said some friends hinted that it was because she was trying to get media attention for her animal rights campaign, while he was trying to keep a low profile after spending all of his life in the limelight.
She could get about $375million!  Not bad for 4 years work, huh?  I always thought it was a little odd that he married her so soon after Linda died...

He made me sick with this whole thing. Married her so soon after his beloved Linda died. I think that heather was money hungry so he got what he deserved. Geez!!!

I thought so too, especially since they were such a strong couple. At the time I concluded that he was someone who couldn't stand to be alone.

Nope...they said they were "too much in love" and didn't even consider it. Apparently, it wouldn't have been valid under British law either...

Yeah, I think you're right. It's just that he always went on about how Linda was his soul mate, etc and how he was destroyed by her illness - but then about a year later... In a way, I feel sorry for him, it must've been quite a shock to him after having such a seemingly peaceful marriage to one person, to then not get along with your new wife (the paper said that they were fighting allof the time, to the point where they couldn't sleep in the same house). I don't know, for some reason - and this may sound like a total stereotype/blanket statement - I would imagine that that would be especially difficult for a man to handle...

I think its sad when any couple breaks up.
Although they would fight soo much they couldn't sleep in the same HOUSE? Is that a typo? I can see MAYBE not sleeping in the same room, but not even the same house?

Nope, not a typo - HOUSE!!! I guess when you have several - and even your houses have smaller houses on the property ( ) - it's not really a problem!

He married her 4 years after Linda. I don't think that is so soon? IMO the living should live, just because he wanted to move on with his life does not mean he wasn't strong enough to be alone.

I was so not happy that he hooked up with her so soon after Linda died. 
but wow $375M huh...is that dollars or Sterling?
