Fire Pits/ Outdoor fireplaces
Rays birthday is next week and all he has been talking about it how he wants one of those putdoor fireplace things for the our backyard this spring/summer...so I thought I would buy him one for his birthday!
I went to Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Big Lots, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Linens N Things and they either don't have any or are sold out. Target had only a few in stock that were really cheap/ugly. I did see many available online, but the shipping is $$$ because they are heavy.
I was just wondering if anyone has seen any in Suffolk County in stock, or can think of another store for me to try. I don't want the really small round ones.

Have you thought about calling other Targets. Or I know some stores can llok up to store which stores have a specfic item in stock- don't know if Target does it but it's worth a shot!

Target shipping was $50-something plus $14 tax

OH, I forgot to mention I tried Lowes too, and they do have a 30 inch round in stock... but I didn't like it that much.
I am not a member to BJs.

i saw one at a garden show and it was actually built in the ground with slate and rocks - i think DH and i are going to dig and build one when we get a house... we used to have a chiminea for summer/fall nights... they are cool too!

If you find one in Home Depot here's a 20% coupon. We got one of the tall cast iron ones that are open all around(not just the front) from there for $100- we like it!
