Eating Chinese Food...
What are the no no's on this?
Can we still have it as long we don't over do it. I love chinese food and can't live without it. The steamed dishes won't do anything for me.

Re: Eating Chinese Food...
I love Chinese too but have it in moderation - maybe once every couple weeks or month.
I just don't over indulge because it contains lots of salt - and i retain water - i notice im always bloated and thirty afterwards - so i try not to eat it often.
But you should definitely have it on occasion - see how you react to it and make sure it contains no MSGs.

Re: Eating Chinese Food...
Just go no MSG, alot of chinese food places don't even use it anymore. Just watch the salt content. I tend to swell the day after eating chinese food.

Re: Eating Chinese Food...
With me I would get so dehydrated from the chinese food then I would start to get contractions and go into pre-term labor, then have to go to the hospital for shots of terbutaline to stop the contractions and iv bags of fluid to get rehydrated..

Milk and OJ are fine!!! Oj tends to give them a little boost and once you start feeling movement you may feel more after drinking OJ.

Did you mean pasteurized? These are really the only things you should avoid. Fish high in mercury all fish you should have 2X per week at most Any unpasteurized product:milk, cheeses Bleu cheese Undercooked meat or fish
This is what my Dr says anyway every dr is different

Re: Eating Chinese Food...
You can drink milk, as long as its pastuerized- which 99.9% of the milk in the US is. Milk is actually very good to drink while you're pregnant.

Re: Eating Chinese Food...
Do you have any books on pregnancy yet? They are quite helpful in answering many of the questions you have.
Try Your Pregnancy Week by Week or What to Expect when your Expecting
The section on pregancy in the book store has loads of helpful books
