Thank you card question
For anyone who saw the post that I had on Friday. One of my students choked in class and I had to give him the Heimlich. I also had to call his mom to tell her what happened.
Anyways today the little boy came in with 2 dozen roses, a box of chocolate and the sweetest card I think I have ever read.
So my question is, do I need to send a Thank you card back to them? Since this was a thank you to me? I gave him the hugest hug, cried when I read the card and told him he absolutely made my whole day, but I want to let the Mom know that she didn't have to do that and that I appreciate it but I don't want to do overkill KWIM?
So what do you think? Thank you card or no thank you card?
