Tip for the Mom's: Don't try this at home!

I had off this weekend from all 3 jobs, so I decided to do something ambitious and put together (on my own) Amber's gym yard. Looking at all the various parts, I thought "Oh this will be a breeze". Ummmmnn, not quite. Nothing lined up correctly, the paint was paper thin on the bars, so everytime I brushed them up against something in my ever-growing frustration to put the screws together, it would chip, scratch, etc. Ugghh, it was an engineering nightmare! But finally, it's up. Just don't let the kids play on it, since I'm not 100% confident it's sound I'll have to scan up some pics of my ghetto gym-yard. 3 days out of the box and it looks like crap!

Oh man...you are brave to even take on such a task!! If that were me, it would have been sitting in the box until DH had a chance to do that (OK, scratch that...I'm probably more handy than him, so it would have been in the box until we HIRED someone to do it!)

I give you credit. I wouldn't know which end was up. That would've been a job for dh. I am sure you did a great job on it. I hope you had a chance to also enjoy your three days off.
