Last night was was making chicken..I touched the raw chicken..Then woke up in the middle of the night with diahrea, and also had it today. I called my OB office, they didn't seem concerned and told me to go to ER if continues. It is getting better, but I am still worried.. I know how dangerous raw meat is..and I don't know where my head was yesterday!!!!

i dont think touching raw chicken or meat will make u sick....if u ate it tehn thats another story.. feel better

I agree. Just make sure to stay hydrated if you're still getting sick. Feel better!

Just FYI...the stomach virus and a very bad cold are totally circulating right now. I had it 2 weeks ago. BUT if you complain about it...the drs cant do anything for a stomach virus anyhow...I tried! Fell better

I have had both the cold and the stomach virus in the past 2 weeks. I'm sure if you didn't eat the chicken it had nothing to do with it. Feel better!

I doubt it was from touching the raw chicken. I've handled raw chicken lots of times during the pregnancy & never got sick. I just make sure I wash my hands afterwards (which I always did anyway.)
