Ok, I'm not supposed to be teary eyed at work!
That was one of the most beautiful things I've ever read. I'm so glad you wrote & truly hope you will keep it up for other moms going through similar feelings to see.
I know you said you aren't the perfect mom, but really I think you are the perfect mom for your daughter. I hope she grows up to be as strong & as honest about herself as her mommy.

That was so brutal, and expressed more in words what so many of us new moms feel everyday on some level... I wish people had been more honest with me in what to expect my first year with Alex... I can tell just by your words alone that you're an amazing mommy. Happy birthday to your daughter!

I can't believe it has been a year already.
I commend you for being so honest and so open about your emotions which in one way or another we all experienced at one point or another.
You always have been a great mom wether you didn't seeit or even felt it at the time.

Motherhood has a way of bringing out every emotion we have. Sometimes all in the same day! If everything is going smooth- we feel like supermom, and if the day is tough we feel vulnerable and defeated. I appreciate your honesty and it took guts to write it.

That was truly amazing Jamie! You should never second guess how incredible a mother you are because one look at the two of you together tells the world how much that baby is loved and how much she loves you. She is your precious baby girl and I am more than honored that you are my friend

I applaud you for being so open. I can definitely relate to so many of the feelings you've expressed.
It's very inspiring to read posts such as this one. Motherhood is such an amazing journey no one ever knows where it will lead you and what you may discover when you get there.
