What is a reasonable amount of money to give as a Christening gift? any other suggestions other than money?

Re: Christening gift
I would give $50-$100 or a savings bond or a religious gift (cross).

Re: Christening gift
We give a savings bond in the child's name or we buy a few shares of stock, depending on the price. The stock we buy is always something stable.
