determining sex at 12 weeks

i saw in another post, that someone found out this early. I know its not going to be 100% accurate, but is it actually possible for them to make a real good guess? i'm so impatient i can't wait until 20 weeks!

When I did the NT screening at about 12 -13 weeks, I asked the tech if she could tell the baby's sex. She said it was still a little early to be really sure so she wouldn't tell us either way.

They might be able to make a guess, but I would put about as much trust in it as I would the Chinese Calendar. I know the waiting is the worst, but I think it's better than getting all excited about or only to find out the tech was wrong.

My dr. said that 12 weeks was too early. He made a guess at 15 weeks and even said that we would have to wait till the level II to be sure!

I went for my regular monthly check up at 12 weeks and the PA had to a sono in the office because she couldnt find the heartbeat (I nearly lost mine when she told me that ) and he was hiding and she said it looks like a boy. She was right, after I had my level 2 she said she knew it was boy all along but didnt want to give me a defint answer.

They told us at 12 weeks, the tech said just not to run out and do everything blue! She said she would have to make sure at the 20 week sono. Turns out she was right from the beginning.

my doctor wouldn't even consider telling us anything until the level II

Our sono tech told us at our 20wk sono that she knew it was a girl at 12 wks because she could see her ovaries.

My DD stepmom was told at 11 weeks its a girl ................she is gonna weight til 20 weeks to see if they are right(thats in 4 weeks)

I good tech will definitely be able to tell at 12 weeks, especailly if it is a boy

I found out at 11.5 weeks that I was having a son!

I really think the only way you can know FOR SURE at 12 weeks is by CVS.

we didn't know until 19 weeks at the level II. i don't think i'll ever feel exactly "sure" until the baby comes out... LOL
