I HATE when pple that I just met kiss me hello and goodbye IT SEEMS SOOO PHONY maybe im weird lol--even when i was little I hated when my aunts would kiss my cheeks lol

Always. Not to just all strangers, but friends of friends or people I meet though other friends I always kiss them hello & good bye.

like we went to dinner, a group of us and the owner kissed everyoen goodbye.

only family members usually, not friends, unless i i haven't seen them in along time. the one thing i hate is shaking hands, that grosses me out! my DH and i went to a gym yesterday to see about joining and we saw his boss there all sweaty and he shook my hand! i wanted to vomit!

I grew up in Delaware where no one touched when they said hello. We had a nice, pleasant 6 foot radius around us as we waved to each other.
I liked it that way.
But when I moved to Long Island, suddenly people I JUST met decided that they could get to first base with me!!
It took me a looooong time to get used to it.
Some people are still a little too close for me, and I still feel a little awkward. But when in Rome...

DIGRESSION: What I HATE more than ANYTHING are people who kiss children (that they dont know) or when parents MAKE their children kiss people. I hated that when I was a kid and I hate watching it now. I always ASK to kiss my nieces and nephews if I feel the urge. There are too many mixed messages out there about good touch and bad touch. Id rather a child come to me and show genuine affection. IT DOES and CAN happen. "Go and give Aunt Bunnie a kiss." ICK!

Same here. The kissing or hugging part doesnt bother me. What bothers me is when someone stands too close to me when having a conversation. It seems more intrusive when someones up in my face for more then 5 seconds.
Also, the kissing on the mouth that someone had mentioned, yuck! I would be grossed out too.
