First Time homeowners
Are there programs out there for first time home buyers who do not have low incomes??
It seems all the opportunities to save for 1st timers is only if you dont make any money.

Re: First Time homeowners
Talk to the Long Island Housing Partnership. We spoke to someone there and took a course (we sat with a counciler for an hour) which qualified us for a mortgage with no PMI. If was for first time homebuyers that took this "course" and the combined income had to be less thank 130k. Usually you have to put down 20% to not get PMI, but not with this program. I dont' know if they still have it but it is worth taking to a counciler- its free too!

Thats what we did, We worked with Lynn Law. She is wonderful. Give it a try. She will educate you on stuff you might think you know or dont know. And it is free.
