What's so lame about it? The fact that I didnt scoop 10 Elmo's off the shelf so I can list them on E-Bay, or the fact that I made a comment?
I have sold stuff on e-bay, for LESS than it's worth just to get rid of it.

yes, I am one of those people who have just sold some of the Elmo's on ebay...
I must admit we are pretty happy with the profit that we made from them.. I was very surprised!!!
I will say there are many people in this country that live in the boonies who want them due to the press coverage of this toy and don't have the access like we do to lots of different places ... So this may be their only option right now to secure one..
The people who won ours were from places I have never heard of in states that are very rural. They were really grateful to us for winning one for their child..
Happy shopping to everyone still looking for one!!!!

From what I understood They are only making a limited # of this elmo's and once that # is hit the production will stop. Supposedly they expect to completely sell out by November right now they are everywhere you go. We got 57 in at my job and they were gone within the first hour we were opened. I actually bought two with the intention of getting one for my neice who is 2 and the other to sell on ebay in December when there will probally be a scramble for them.
