In the process of changing my name... what forms of ID do I need to get on a plane?
So far I changed my SS card... the new one was in the mail yesterday!  But, I haven't been able to get to the DMV yet (both times I tried it was a 4-5 hour wait) so my drivers license is in my maiden name. We're going to FL in 2 weeks and it was booked under my new name... do I need my license or is my new SS card ok? Do I need something else with a picture on it? Can I just bring my SS card, old license and marriage certif? TIA!!

You have to bring a form of a government issued ID. Drivers license or passport.

I think you will be fine with these things.
If you can get to the DMV right when they open, you shouldn't have a wait. Then you will have the interim paper license.

you will definitely need a photo ID, so the SS card by itself will not be enough. I would also bring your driver's license with a copy of your marriage license.

All three should be good but I'd definitely call them first to make sure. You never know.

photo id (gov't liscense)
remember, your id must match whatever your name is that you booked the flight......
so if you booked your flight in your old name, you need old ID and so on for your new name

I would call the airline because I'm pretty sure you are going to need a photo id in whatever name the tickets are under
