Dear Team Manager

In the year that I have been working here, I can count on one hand how many times I've been late, and that is three times. The first was because of an accident on the FDR, and I arrived 6 minutes late, the second was because the train derailed and I was 22 minutes late, and this morning I was 8 minutes late because there's a water main break on 5th Avenue and the entire surrounding streets are closed off.

I arrive every morning by 8:00 a.m., sometimes at 7:30 a.m., and I work 12+ hours, which unfortunately, you cannot even contend to with your 5+ hours of actual work, and the remaining time you show face here spent "getting coffee" or "getting lunch" or "running an errand" or "chatting with your mum."

Please do me a favor and do not embarrass me in front of clients, colleagues, or the Managing Director as you are under a close watch right now for your lack of work ethic and Managing skills (or lack there of.)

I promise the next time you speak to me like a four year old who spoiled their pants, that I will file a formal complaint about your "skin rash" and "terrible dandruff" that finds it's way to my desk.
