36 weeks and counting

Well made it to 36 weeks and so far this has been a wonderful pregnancy up until yesterday. I had a scare, because I woke up at 4am with a terrible headache and my hands & feet were the size of balloons. All morning long I didn't feel well and was seeing stars. I called my OB, because I was just getting so nervous about it all. I haven't had any troubles this whole pregnancy and now I felt as if something might have been wrong. They took me right in and my BP was elevated from my norm. Usually I run 106/70 to 110/72, but yeterday I was 134/84, so it has gone up some. My OB didn't seem to concerned, saying towards the end of pregnancy, most women's BP's will slightly go up. He said just to watch for orbital edema or N/V (stomach ache), because those could be a warning sign of Pre-eclampsia. His recommendation was plenty of rest on my left side and drink more than normal water/fluids. I feel better today, so happy about that.
