btdt moms - when did you start introducing the sippy cup?
Talia LOVES drinking water out of my glass - I also give her plastic cups (empty) and she picks them up and tries to drink from them - so I was thinking maybe I would start giving her a sippy cup - is it too early? Will it cause any confusion?

Well, if she's already drinking out of a regular cup, I wouldn't even bother with a sippy that has a spout. It's almost like a step backwards.
I introduced the sippy this month to Jake (7 mos) but initially I tried a regular cup at around 5 months. That didn't go too well so now I'm trying the sippy.
I say stick with the regular cups and see what they have out there for kids without a spout.

I started with sippy cup intro at about 5 months - not as a replacement but for practice to learn.

Jen - Joseph does the same thing!!! I never even thought to actually let him drink from it... maybe I will since he can't be bothered w/ the bottle
