Question for parents who have had medical scares with their children
How did you get through it without falling apart?

I was so wrapped up in giving them whatever comfort I could, I didn't think of anything else. When I had to leave the hospital, I went into research mode. After that, I just cried.

Oh my...I am so sorry. I'm sure that it's something that is managable. I really wish you all the best. I would suggest that you talk as much about it and research (if that makes you comfortable) so you understand whatever it could be. Remember, Dr's always tell you worst case senario.

get second opinions unless it's something that's exact like bloodwork or something. research, talk to other parents, look for the BEST doctors possible to treat whatever it is. count on all of us for support and

Same here. It was sooo hard. I prayed and prayed and THANK GOD everything turned out fine.
