Books and websites I can give to someone

A women I work with who will be 29 this month has been trying for 7 yrs with her husband and with no success. I was talking to her today and she has a doctor's appt tomorrow but she thinks the reason nothing is happening is because her and her husband do a ton of business traveling. They are always on the road, and she's not really taking care of herself.

However she was told she has cycsts and is in so much pain. We were on a business convention together and the pain was so bad she almost collapsed.

I would live to give her some suggestions on books to look into and websites to look into.

I told her about TCOYF and fertilityfriend.com so she can discuss with her doctor about charting and really getting to know her body and fertility.

I would like to put a little packet of info together for her to give her something to read while she's on the road. All suggestions are greatly appreciated.

That's so sweet that you want to help your friend Chat Icon Chat Icon

there are many books out there for me personally I have found these very helpful

and the Infertility Cure by Dr. Lewis and Inconceivable, forget the authors's name right now and the book listed below, even DH read a bit of that one

As for websites there is Resolve, a national organization with local chapters, I find there website as a great resource

Resolve

And there are many websites out there also, I like ivfconnections, but they discuss different topics not just IVF.

Thanks Donna. I heard about that book when I was searching on Amazon.com

I included it in the little package I put together for her.

Those other books I'll add to my list and put together another packet for her for when she returns from her business trips. She'll be doing a ton of traveling over the next 3 weeks.
