Painting the Master Bedroom Some Shade of Blue???
My master bedroom is in need of painting. I have two main comforter sets, one is light blue & sage and the other is sorta taupe & beige. My window treatments are also a Taupe color. Is there a nice blue color that would match the taupe color??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Maybe a light powder blue more towards the grey end of the color wheel.
I would go to the paint store get a bunch of swatches and hold them up to the fabric.
Just a tip... fold over the swatch just so that one box at a time is showing. That will give you a better idea of what matches.

Dont know if you can see the blue in this pic, but this was right after we painted. The pain is Ralph Lauren. We usually use Benjamin Moore but DH said this paint was pretty good too. Image Attachment(s):

So you're finally getting your blue room, huh ? Didn't you always want a blue room? What about a slate blue room, kind of bluish-grey, I think powder blue is pretty, but you have that in Bella's room, a darker blue would look really pretty.

Funny though, hubby is the one who wants a blue room now - I think I got my fix when we painted Isabella's room 
I wanted something more nuetral, he wants something bluish/grey. I like the idea, but I wasn't sure how it would go with Taupe! What do you think??

I definitely think it will go!! Talk to your brother, he'll pick you out a nice color, I'll have him pick up some paint swatches today and I'll get vback to you!!

we pained 1 of the guest rooms a slate blue. i forget the name but i can look it up for you if you are interested.
it is definetly warmer/darker in person. for some reason, all my pics make the paint color look lighter.
