Rhodium plating yellow gold jewelry??
I have several pieces of jewelry that I love but hate because they are yellow gold. Just curious if anyone here has had this done and where they had it done?? TIA

I had my grandmother's ring dipped and it came out beautiful! I brought it to Kravit's (sp) in Oceanside. It wasn't expensive...maybe 30 dollars...it was so long ago. It looks great and i never had a problem with it.

I've had many pieces dipped, it was done through a coworker whose husband was a jewler. It came out well and has still held up 4-5 years later.

My e-ring and wedding band are white gold, and I have a question:
When you dip jewelry, and I know you have to to keep it nice and shiny, do they have to take the diamonds out? My wedding band is pave diamonds and that would be a pain for them to take them all out and put them back.

I am pretty sure that they leave the diamonds in when they dip the ring.

Leave them in. Nothing needs to be touched they just dip.....

Oh. so does the rhodium not cover the diamonds?
ETA: I assume they dip the whole thing since the top of my rings also have white gold showing

exactly... it only sticks to the metal parts of the ring.
