The Body Exhibit, AND my star sighting

I went with my bf and a grp of friends to South Street Seaport tonite, and we saw the Body Exhibit that they are having there, its true cadevars (sp?)...showing actual human organs, muscles, tissues.. they even show all the organs infected by cancers, strokes, and what our body is truly made of..it was really cool yet somehow bizarre cause it doesnt seem real...It was a little pricey at 25 bucks per ticket but something interesting to do for the nite... they even have an entire room ( u are warned about the HIGHLY sensitive material in that room) that shows ACTUAL babies/fetus's from conception to birth...

on another note we are at the exhibit, and I spot this gorgeous guy with someone who is obvioulsy his mother and I realize that it is the actor Timothy Adams...Soap fans who watch NBC might recall the show Sunset Beach (i was a diehard fan of the show) and he was there, I practically stalked him the entire time, and at one point he smiled at me, but I unfortunatly didnt go over and say anything cause I didnt wanna stir up any scene or anything. Heres a pic incase any1 knows who I am talking about

I live in Houston now and the exhibit just got here a few weeks ago!!!

My DH and I have been wanting to go to this for some time now!!! I am excited!!

So did you change any of your habits? I heard that after people walk through this exhibit that people walk out wanting to change their bad habits to healthy ones.

u should def check it out!!!... OMG it makes me wanna eat healthy and live a better life..and trust me if u smoke--u will stop after seeing some oo the exhibits, also it shows u the reality of how cancer eats away and destroys so much of ur body in its various forms (that part was sooo gruesome and sad) word of warning tho--for the women who have lost babies or have trouble conceiving the baby/fatus room can be verry tramatic--some parts i refused to look at....they do warn u b4 u go into that room that u can detour and skip it

The exhibition was SO interesting. Its not gross at all IMO, honestly if I didnt know any better it doesnt look like real bodies/body parts. The best part was the fetal development room. So cool to see what and how big a fetus is at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks, etc.
