Places in Suffolk for a 60th bday party?
Both my parents turn 60 at the beginning of next yr. They are great ppl and were phenomenally helpful to me in many ways when I planned my wedding, which was just a few months ago. I want to have a really special party for them, but am somewhat limited financially. Ideas for place I could have it -- space to rent? restaurants or catering halls with decent prices pp? I would love any and all ideas!

Marios' in Setauket has very good food and great prices. I have also heard great things about Pomodorino in Hauppauge, but am uncertain of the pp cost.

I "heard" marios in setauket turned into branchinellis...not 100% sure but thats what I heard.
I recommend J&Rs steakhouse behind the smithhaven mall.

Blue in Bluepoint formerly Mazzei's did a nice Sunday Brunch for my DD's Christening(the place is really pretty)........priced pretty good(Same as Sonoma Grill, we looked there too).
