House is cute, decieving from outside but roomy. Nice size yard.

That's what you're going to get (tax-wise) in Merrick.
I think the house is cute, and I believe they started MUCH higher, but if it's the house I'm thinking of, it's right behind the LIRR.

I think the house is cute, and I believe they started MUCH higher, but if it's the house I'm thinking of, it's right behind the LIRR.
Yup they started at $499. Hosue is across from lirr when they bought it was perfect took 3 minutes to walk to train,. they both work in the city. SO convenient it is.
The block is cute though. Trees line the railroad so not that visable
Merrick has excellent schools, so I think that why their taxes are on the high side.

Yep, taxes are high - but you get what you pay for - Merrick is a beautiful area.

We looked at a house right over there. Love the area - I believe it's Chatterton Elementary. Love, love, love that area.

yes it is chatterton... Its a great area.. Shes right next too merrick ave, which has nice shopping
