Cooking Turkey Question
Im making a turkey for dinner. How long per pound (its an 8lber)? It's unstuffed if that makes a difference.

30 minutes per pound, but I would buy yourself a thermometer and stick it in the breast portion toward the last hour of cooking. That's really the only way to tell if it's done. Make sure you don't hit the bone with the thermometer

I know where my meat thermo. is... it's in my shower (Kids always bring me the strangest stuff at the strangest times )

well go get that thermometer! After I read the instructions I realized I told you the wrong thing. Stick the thermometer in the thigh not the breast. The dark meat always will take longer
