South Carolina Vs. North Carolina
We are looking to buy a house in either state. Anyone have anything to say about either location from a personal view?
We are looking into the Charleston, SC and Wilmington, NC area.
We want to be near the coast.
I was in Summerville last May for a job interview and loved it but decided on Florida instead. We want to move a little closer to LI since we miss our Family, and my dad hates Florida. He mentioned the Carolinas as did FH's parents.
Any opinions/comments would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!

I have a friend who lives in Wilmington. She LOVES it.
My Aunt and Uncle live in Chapel Hill. They love it also.
My parents are looking to buy a second house - and I know they are looking at Asheville. Those are the only areas I know of sorry!

Have you been to Wilmington? I did a findyourspot.com search and Wilmington was my number 2. After some research it seemed like a nice place to live.
Is it country like where it is 20 minutes to a food store or is it more like long island where there are lots of shops/malls/stores?

I've never been there but I can find out for you. I think it's like a regular town though....did you ever watch Dawsons Creek? That's where it was filmed.

No I never got into it. Any information would be great next time you talk to your friend or whatever. We will probably be taking a road trip in June but wanted some heads up first before I trek there.
