then there are a lot of ITALIAN CURSES & PHRASES that don't make any sense in English that I say now when I get mad! 
"Bootega Di Sorda" - your sister's bottle or your sister's a whore, depending on who you ask :)
"Ba Foncule" - F-u
buortte Di Sale - burst of salt (actually this was orginally buortte di sangue - "burst of blood" but my grandparents started saying salt because it was less harsh ...)

On and on.... and I was a good kid. It brings up good memories for me, my parenst are both deceased.

i used to say to her "i love you, have a nice time, be careful and drive safe!!" every night...otherwise, i felt jinxed!

I use to hate when she'd compare us to other children. "Look at those children...you don't see them hitting and fighting with each other." Ooooo that would drive me nuts.

Which is to say don't chew food loudly. I never thought I'd use that, but I found myself saying something like it to DH the other day! I hadn't ever even heard his chewing before, and all of a sudden it was like 20 decibels! I'm becoming my mother!

Which is to say something smells like a fart. You gotta love Jamaica.
