Mommy's who use private daycare...come on in....
I'm just wondering how much you pay PER DAY for private daycares (like in someone's home, not a babysitter, but a lisensed home daycare). I have gotten some prices from a few places and am trying to give myself a better frame of reference. We're only doing two days a week, so that's why I ask per day. I pay $.625/hr at a friend's house. She isn't licensed, but is a SAHM who watches her aunt's daughter and her own daughter, plus mine. It works out to be roughly $50/day.

$6.25 an hour for 5 hours a day, 2 days a week. I start at the end of September. A family friend who is a teacher is watching her this summer one day a week for $6 an hour, for 5 hours. I work mostly from home and see clients 1-2 days a week. HTH
