Ant problem due to warm weather?
Every time of the year when the weather gets warm, black ants get into our apartment. We keep all the windows closed, but they still come in from the drains. Other than calling an exterminator, is there anything else we can do? Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks.

I had them coming in a couple of days ago, so I used the home defence spray (can get it at home dept) and it worked great, dont see them anymore. My sister was getting a lot of them in her house, so she had to call an exterminator. I hate ants!!!

Yup I swear by Terro Traps! You just need to be patient through the swarm, but you won't see them again!

WE had massive black ants a few days ago, and I agree, the Terro traps worked in a day! Haven't seen an ant since! We used the Terro liquid traps, where you drop some of the liquid on a little square and let the ants feast. No more ants the following night, they work!

DH got an Ant Killer spray from Home Depot.
We had a HUGE problem! We spray a few times a year inside and around the perimeter of the house. If we forget to do it at the change of the season and see a few ants, it reminds us to do it again. Works really well.
