Anyone know an inexpensive car rental co?
Just need a small compact car for 4 days when my mom comes to town and everything I see is $65.00 per day. Is that the norm?

Do you have a membership to BJ's or Costco? We saved a lot on our car rental when we were on vacation by booking through BJ's.

I am doing the research right now. I looked up a bunch from travel sites.
Here are my results
For a midsized car
Skyauction.com- 269.89/week
Hotwire.com- 215.60/week
Kayak.com- started at 40 per day
orbitiz.com-248/week
Cheaptickets.com-248
Rentalcars.com-Still waiting
The only draw back is I have to put the car under my moms name because I am under 25 years old and they want to charge me extra.

It's been avg $25-30 a day

Can you rent somewhere other than the airport? That always saves money.
We usually use Budget when we come to NY.
What about Priceline? I got a really good deal there one time.
We're using Payless when we go to Arizona.
