Anyone watch last nights figure skating competition??

I don't watch it often, but was excited about the girl from LI and watched. I am so mad to see this morning that she is not going to the olympics and that Michele Kwan is getting a free pass. I think its soo unfair. Michele has not been in half the competitions required this year, but is getting a medical waiver. If she was not well enough to compete, why give her a free pass for a competition that is a month away.
I think it is just so unfair to the girls that busted their butts, were in every competition, while battling sickness and injury themselves, still giving it their all are going to miss out and Kwan gets a chance based on her past, which in my opinion, she does not have great olypic experience and she is not the same Kwan of the past, she is older.

OK, vent over, stinks there is even politics in figure skating!!!

sorta like the nancy kerrigan tonya harding. nancy couldn't compete and they sent her to the olympics
