Broke my ankle today.
I'm so P O 'ed at myself, on the way to train I was walking really fast, almost running, I looked up (elevated platform in Lindenhurst) to see if train was coming and hit a crack in the pavement, fell and fractured my left ankle. Thank goodness DH and I commute together and he was with me.
Please learn a lesson I thought I learned from SIL who fell and split her lip running for a train, there's always another train, take your time.

Yes, but its a removable walking cast. They told me if they did a regular cast it would have to be redone 6-7 times in the first week because of changes in swelling.

That stinks! Be sure to lay low for awhile so that it can heal!

ouch When I was preggo I fell down and twisted my ankle bad, I never went to the Dr so I don't know what I did to it. It was painful and still bothers me months later, I can't imagine actually fracturing it. Hope you are feeling better soon!!!!
