Emily is sick...Updated with more questions...
She had her 9 month shots on Friday and she has been fine for the past day and a half but tonight she's woken up twice and the last time was really bad. She was coughing up a storm and her nose was so clogged -- I had to use the nasal asperator so she could breath again.
We took her temp and it was 96.5 -- my DH wants to know if that can be too low!
I gave her a little bit of dimetap since she's taken that before as per the doc for congestion -- but I'm all worried about her now. I can't believe how sad it makes me that my little girl has a cold.
Hopefully she will feel better in the AM but I'm worried now because her Christening is tomorrow. We waited so long to get her baptised and now she has a cold when it is going to happen. I don't think she'd be up for a party if she's sick -- I don't know what we should do.
Please think good healthy vibes for Emily for tomorrow!!
ETA It is the morning and Emily seems a little bit better at least in spirits. She is still coughing a lot and her nose is very stuffy but she is interested in playing whereas in the middle of the night she was exhausted to boot and just wanted to lay on me.
I'm wondering if this could be from the shots after a day and a half. She had HIB and Prevnar. I looked up Prevnar online and it said to look for a reaction within 24 hours and it was over 24 hrs.
At 9 I am going to call the doc's emergency # because she'll be around other babies today and if she's sick my sister the godmother might not bring her baby and then she won't be able to come because she EBFs.

Poor baby, I hope she feels better. 
Keep her hydrated and use a humidifier tonight if you have one. If she's still under the weather tomorrow, let people know so that they are not all over her. Maybe even keep her away from too many people during the party so she can rest.

I am thinking now that on Thursday we went out to Greenport to visit friends and her 2 year old son had a bad runny nose and was very cranky -- my friend said that maybe he was coming down with a cold -- so maybe she caught that from him?

What color is her boogies? It sounds more like a cold than a reaction to the shots. I hope she was in a good mood for her big day today

Let's hope not! How did today go? You had a beautiful day! My cousin's DD had her cristining today also. Party after in the yard! Soooo nice out!
