Friday is the big day
I will be induced on Friday. I have not dilated any more since last week.
For those of you who have been induced , Is it really that much worse ?
I am starting to freak out because I was planning on waiting it out at home as much as I could, now its all different.
I'm Really Nervous!

I was induced with my son but dont go by me. I did not dialate even with Pitocin. My friend on the other hand was induced and she had the baby 5 hours later.
The pitocin makes it painful but just get your EPI as soon as you can

I was induced and wouldn't do it any other way! I loved the fact that I knew I was going in. Of course I didn't know what to expect but everything was VERY monitored. I did get Pitocin because I was not progressing. Once I got to 3 cm I received the epidural and the rest was fine!

My sister was induced with her 1st baby & had him in 4 hours...things really progressed fast.
On the other hand,my girlfriend was induced last Monday,had the baby Tuesday night- kinda long.
It just really depends,they both had 2 babies(others NOT induced)so they said it wasn't that much different than the other deliveries in terms of pain.
Like they all say,theres a reason its called "labor" damn-hard work.

I was induced with my daughter and the only bad thing about it was you are mandated to the bed. Other than that- its ok.

Good luck!!! Can't wait to see pics of your little one!
I am due on the 18th - and have an appt tonight - im eager to find out whether i've had any progression - cause of last week i was not dialated.
Your little boy will be here soon !

Are you 2 weeks post-due date?
If not, you can hold off another week.
If yes, then you can ask for a few more days...many doctors will allow you to wait 2 weeks and 3 days...if it is important to you.
You can also request that they turn off ALL drugs once your body is in active labor and not continue the PIT.
You can also discuss that you will not agree to a c/s just because you are not progressing on their schedule.
