Who saw Harry Potter last night?

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts were?

I thought so far it was the best of all the movies.

I did! DH and I both thought it was great- there were a surprising number of funny moments too. It was very well done.

Re: Who saw Harry Potter last night?

I did, but I'm ashamed to admit that I couldn't stay awake. I was really upset with myself, but my eyes would not stay open at all. DH finally gave up on poking me and let me sleep. Chat Icon I saw parts, but it was really inconsistent.

I'm too old for late night movies, apparently.

Chat Icon Me too- we went to a 7:30 showing, and I was so ready to crash when we were leaving. I would not have made it through the 9:30!

Re: Who saw Harry Potter last night?

I saw it on Thursday night and loved it! I was slightly disappointed because they cut out a lot, but I know they had to do it for timing purposes. Chat Icon

I saw it last night. It was great- I didn't like the 3 one too much- thank g-d htey went back to Chris Columbus as director.

It was so good!! They just left out so many small details! I was also disappointed about Winky and Dobby not being in it.

But overall it was great! Very happy.

I think Mike Newell directed it. I did like the ones that Chris Columbus directed.

It was Mike Newell-- he also did Four Weddings and a Funeral-- which I think why all the humor was amped up...

I saw it straight after work on Friday and LOVED it.. I love that they are getting older and overall, it was a more mature movie. Voldemort was f*cking scary though.. I think they did such a great job bringing the book to life-- the World Cup- Voldemort and the graveyard.. I loved it.

DH was a little disappointed since he felt they left a lot of things out from the book-- but, he read it more recently than I did.. I just thought it was great!

Rock on Harry!!!

I thought is was great. They left a lot out but I guess they had to. I thought they did a great job with it and I hope they keep this director for the future movies.

Voldemort and the Death Eaters were great. The dragon fight was awesome. LOVED IT!!!
