Anonymous V-day Poll for the Ladies
When I say NOTHING - I mean NOTHING - not even a card - the day goes by virtually unacknowledged.
Just thought it would be funny to see how many of us really mean it when we say it.

we said we were just going to get each other passports and have dinner with another couple, but believe me I was so happy to wake up to presents this morning. I think I would have been a little surprised if he did not get me anything.

We did chocolate and a card and said that was it (but on a normal day I usually pick him up chocolate anyways cause he's a junky). I told him that was it, I didn't want flowers cause they are too much. Well, we both broke our word, but I am happy we did, I made him these cute coat hooks for the bedroom, painted and decorated them myself and he just totally surprised me with my favorite chocolate in the whole world, Worlds Finest and Strawberry Shortcake bubble bath ( I love the smell) which I have been looking for for the longest time. I love when we say nothing, it always turns in to something!!

We don't celebrate it and I get ****** if he acknowledges it. I say and mean nothing! He learned early on I meant it...after I let the flowers he get me die...because that's what they do...they die and they're a colossal waste of money! And I HATE roses!! 
I really dislike this day!!

I told Vanessa that we wouldn't exchange anything.
But I decided to send roses to her job. I figured its the least I can do for her having to deal with me on a daily basis.

I always expect at least a card and we pretty much agree to no gifts but I always hope that one year he'll go out on his own and surprise me with something but he doesn't.

We usually exchange small presents and cards, but I told DH not to get me any presents or flowers this year. I love getting cards from him though b/c he writes really beautiful stuff in them. If I didn't get a card, I'd be pi$$ed. I'm not mad if he doesn't get me anything else.

Ok, im a happy lady...two dozen roses and a Starbucks gift certificate  And, the best part - a homemade card
Next year i think i'll refrain from the no gift rule. it sure gets depressing!
