Ipod spinoff question

Well, I am a graphic designer, and I already own a Mac. I would never own a PC! 
But if you want to changes your computer because you have an ipod, that's kinda silly. The reason ipod is so HUGE is because you CAN use it on your PC!
Plus, Mac will soon start with an intel pentium processor. We are looking to get a New Mac, but we are waiting until the changeover.

I would purchase an apple computer for tons of different reasons, none of which have anything to do with buying an IPOD.

We had the Mac before we got our iPod's and I will never buy a pc again. However I don't think it's necessary to buy a Mac just b/c you have an iPod - part of the beauty of the iPod is that you can use it with your pc now.

I wouldn't buy a Mac, but that has nothing to do with my iPOD. I love love love my iPOD, but I haven't worked on an APPLE since High School and no desire to start!
