very nervous! UPDATED
hi guys-I am a regular poster but under a different name. I have missed my period by 2 days and I took 3 tests last night(I am crazy!) The first one I took was the EPT that comes out digital if u are Pregnant or not. It was the one that has 2 parts-You pee on the stick and than you lock the stick into another stick and have to wait for the results to come up.. So, I did it last night and i didn't know if i was doing it correct so I pulled it out and than inserted back in and than it came up as I was!!!!!!! I than bought first response which came with 2 tests and took both of them after this one and it came up Negative. I don't know what to do! Do you guys think that I messed the first test up thats why it came up I was?? I am so nervous!

I just took another test and it came out Negative. After I wiped myself there was blood but dry very little and it was brownish.
Does this mean you think I am getting my period?

Can you call up your dr. and schedule a test? You wouldn't have to see the doctor and you would know right then and there?

I don't think with the EPT digital you are suppose to pee on the stick then insert it into the digital part. I never took the EPT, but I did take the Clear blue digital and i know that you are suppose to connect the the pee stick end to the reading part, then pee on the stick so the urine crosses over into the reading part all at once and you get the result.
Did you pee on all 3 all with one pee or go three separate times?
I would take another test with first morning pee and see what comes up when the pg hormone is most concentrated.

I heard you can get a false negative but never really a false positive.

It's possible that you are pregnant because sometimes if it's early on in the pregancy you need to wait awhile to POAS again so the hormone can build up....i would say either go to the dr, or try and poas today- wait at least 5 hours without peeing first...
i hope you are okay and everything works out for you.......

I've always been told there's no such thing as a false positive since you need the hormones to be present in your urine for a positive result. Sounds like the first test you took was more sensitive. I say congrats are in order, however, I'd still test again out of my own curiosity.

although rare, "false positives" can happen (first hand experience unfortunately) that then lead to what people label a "chemical pregnancy".
i took3 pregnancy tests, all BFP's. a week later i took another and got a BFN. i got my period the day after my BFN  .
