We are getting a dog!!!!
So, we are sooo excited!!!
Short story long -
We went to contract on a house a couple of weeks ago. Both DH and I have always wanted a dog. I really like Weimeraner's and one nite while sitting on the comp. I went to the weimeraner rescue website. It said that if you wanted to be added to the list email and it usually took 3 to 6 months to place a dog, so I emailed figuring we wouldn't hear from them for a while.
The next day I get an email from the LI weimeraner rescue, she has a 9 month old female puppy that the owner has to get rid of.
I call the owner, but she is really upset and tells me she isn't sure what she is going to do, she is having a relationship problem. I figure we aren't getting the dog, no biggie, we aren't going to be in the house for another month anyway, I'll start looking then.
She call's today, her relationship fell apart, she has to get out of the house and want's me to take the dog asap!
We are picking her up Sunday!!!!!!! I can't wait to see her!!!!!

OMG!!! Best of luck with the pup!! DH wants one SO bad but when I read that they are puppies FOREVER and totally spastic...I said no way. IT's bad enough that I'm a spaz and that our 85 lb rottie thinks she's a lap dog!!!
They are SO beautiful!!
