Anyone running the marathon or watching?
less then 2 weeks!!
I feel bad for DH though. My father was injured last week, and they had been training together. DH told me last night that he still wants to run with my dad, so they can help each other along.  I told Leo he did not have to do that since he has been training hard, no one expects him to walk any of it with my dad, but he said there will be other marathons, this one he wants to finish together.
Which is great for me, or else I would have been solo this year chasing him through all the boroughs to support him. Now I can stay with my family, (and also save on finish line photos if they are going to cross together)

I want to watch. If DH doesn't work and its not too cold, I will go. I went last year to watch a friend of mine- and it was so emotional and amazing!! Cheering these total strangers on with their names on their chests- and they look at you and say thanks!! OMG! It is so wonderful. It made me so happy and feel like NYers are such a community.
Being pregnant and emotional as I am now- I will probably be sobbing by how beautiful it all is.

I saw one guy running last year with
"Kelly Will You Marry Me?"
on his shirt. I would have died to see Kelly's reaction.
It is so emotional. We followed my father last year.

ugh! We're staying in the city that weekend. Completely forgot about the marathon! Thanks for the reminder!!!

I am going to totally cry when I see DH. He is such a cutie anyway and I get so happy when I see him come through the door. I can't wait to see him running with my father through the boroughs
