REPOST-Update on my BIG decision...
So I had my apt. with the DR today...of course I cried the whole way there, because I had no idea what I was gonna do...
We listened to the babys heartbeat..and then did an internal (still no progress) and then she went to schedule the amnio ( I guess she just assumed that was my decision)...
So I just said there were a few things I wanted to discuss with her..I asked what my other options were if I choose to skip the amnio..
She said that I could either do the amnio this week, and pending good results be induced next week...
Or I could wait til next week and schedule to be induced the following week (which Ill be 38 weeks)...
Without any thought in my mind...I said Ill wait til 38 weeks... she reminded how things are going to get worse... and although the med. was making my rash LOOK better..the itch was internal.. and was still gonna be unbearable...
I just reminded myself its only one extra week... I got to skip the big needle and its "risks"..plus the baby will "cook" for another 2 weeks...and that just made me feel so much better(even though I know the month of steroids have made him strong... I just feel better this way.)
We did discuss how being induced may lead to a c-section...I even said if she felt it would be easier on the baby...would it be better to schedule that from the start...she said no...but I guess judging by next weeks apt. and the babys position she'll decide for sure..
My next apt is next Tuesday @ 5:00... in which we will be scheduling my induction...she said somewhere between Oct 6-10...So a little more than 2 weeks to go...
My last day of work was originally gonna be 9/30 (because I gotta get rid of my vacation time before his arrival) however it looks like tomorrow or wed. will be my last day...which is OK BY ME!!!!!
Im a little nervous about being induced...and a possible c-section...so Im hoping God will take this into his own hands and my water will break before then... Either way I cant wait to be able to be comfortable...not itchy..and most importantly to meet my little king!

I'm so glad you made a decision you feel comfortable with. Just think in about 3 weeks you will get to hold your little baby.

Congratulations on making the decision! I can't imagine how tough it was for you.
Good luck dealing with the next few weeks. Remember if you're  over this, you can always pick up the phone & call the doctor back.
Exactly...I just gotta keep reminding myself of this..
I will say I dont know if last night was a freak thing..or what..but I slept much better (dont get me wrong I was still up most of the night...but the few hours I did sleep)thank I have in SOOO long...
