Has anyone ever heard of this happening?????
That the sono techs are wrong and the baby ends up being the opposite sex of what you were told?
Just curious......................

I heard this happen years ago but I think technology has gotten better.
I did hear of a story in which they were convinced it was a girl and bought all pink things and then the last sono revealed the truth and when questioned the sono tech said "well, it looks like the timer popped"

this just happened to my friend a few months ago. Sono said girl, then she had an amnio and she is having a boy!

This happened to a close friends co-worker just a few months ago...
It does happen but I think its rare- or at least alot less likely to happen now with todays tech.
In this girls case, she was told  and it was a  -
I think thats what usually happens...
The little pickle gets tucked in, and is mistaken for a girl... where as-if you see a pickle- its a pickle!

I worked in a children's clothing boutique during college (say 1995-1999) and it was somewhat common. I would say at least 1x every two weeks someone would come in, or we would get a phone call from the hospital that dad or grandma was coming down to exchange the coming-home outfit.
I do remember it being a lot of - thought it was a girl, and it was a boy.
