Change in plans

We were totally doing the beaches in Turks & Caicos but when you added all the renewal of vows stuff in it was too much $$$$

So my agent (who is a friend of mine) Recommended the Melia in Punta Cana.... Ive been to Punta Cana before and loved it....they do alot of nice things or the renewal ceremony AND they have cool stuff for kids... (at least from what I saw/read)

Anyone ever been there?

i know this is an old thread, but i was doing a search on Punta Cana and came accross this. Melia Caribe is where we will be staying in Jan 2007. We have friends that have stayed there and highly reccomend. Not sure about what they have for children though. Supposedly it has the nicest grounds out of all the resorts in Punta Cana. When will you be going (if youre still thinking about going there)?

EDS: OOPS...i just read the other thread saying that you booked Beaches...You're going to have such a wonderful wedding...I wish I was going sooner!

Hey Marissa, you can check the destination wedding board at the knot, they are a lot of girls who have gotten married there.

if you need any info on Mexico, I would be happy to help.
I was also planning to do a vow renewal but decided to wait for a later time.
