On average how long do you sit in the wating room at your Pediatricians office?

I had to wait over and hour today It usually is at least 1/2 hr... and I swear if we didn't LOVE the Dr. so so much I'd go somewhere else... I'm tired of waiting with 2 kids, it's not fun!

I usually wait 1/2 hour or less.

10 minutes or less. I just took Jake today for shots and I think I waited like 3 minutes.

The most we had to wait was 30 minutes for a sick visit where they squeezed us in. For our normal scheduled check-ups, I always make it the first appointment of the day and we never wait.

I just took Julia today for her 7 month check up, and I waited like 5 mins.

I think the longest we've waited is like 10 minutes. It takes longer after the check-up for the nurse to come in and administer the shots.

Never more than 5 minutes.

One day we waited for 45 minutes, and I was ******, but that day was just crazy! We usually wait like 5 - 0 mintues at the most.

Normally we wait longer in the room then in the waiting room.

10 min usually. I think on a really bad day once it was about 20 min but they had also squeezed us in for a sick visit.

2 minutes...then when we're in the check-up room...that's where I wait 15-20 minutes.

Usually we go right in.... The only time we had to wait was when one of his appts fell right before school started. I had never seen the waiting room packed with kids like that.

The second I walk in, I don't even sit. I just go right into the room. I'm usually in and out in under 10 minutes. But I also always get the earliest appointment in the morning. Although we don't go as often as when they were little, my kids dread the ped. appt., so the quicker the visit, the better.

My place is generally good considering they are a big practice but this time of year, I have waited. I was really mad one day b/c my daughter had a well care and we sat for an hour. Granted there were alot of sick kids there that day but the entire sick waiting area emptied out and alot of the well care people were still there. That's what really got me angry. I've been there with a sick kid so I can appreciate the need to fit them in but it seemed like they didnt balance out the way they brought the kids in. I ranted to them, which I never do, it takes alot for me to really give people sh*t, and then almost left. They called me as I was putting her jacket on and thank God I stayed, she had an ear infection. I dont love waiting but I would have mindeda heck of alot less if it wasnt all well care people still sitting waiting. One other time I got mad, she was only 6 or 7 months, they had me undress her to get weighed and then Im sitting in the room for 25 minutes with a baby in just a diaper.
